Some skeptics argue that Jesus never would have received a proper burial, that he probably would have been thrown in a common criminal's grave. The early eyewitnesses, however, all noted that Joseph of Arimathea buried him in his tomb right outside the city walls. In this message, we will focus on the phrase "he was buried" and demonstrate that Jesus really did receive a proper burial despite the skeptics' objections. Moreover, we will consider another question that many people struggle with: why does God often seem silent? What we will see is that while God does seem silent at times, this does not mean he is distant or doesn't care. God has good reasons for his silence.
