It can be easy to forget the shocking reality of the gospel. Paul reminds us, “Here’s what happened…” While we were weak, while we were wrong, while we we were enemies, while we were still shaking our fist at God… God gave us his mercy and gave Jesus his wrath. Radical reconciliation. So much more than we deserve!
