Faith of our Father

Paul stands at the collision of two covenants— one that seems to privilege the Jews through law-keeping, and one that offers God’s favor to all who believe through faith. How do works and grace come together? Paul finds the answer in the life of Father Abraham, walking us through the patriarch’s past and showing us how the faith of their father is actually the faith of our father as well. This series will take us through five stories from Abraham’s life that illustrate Paul’s argument about works and faith and how grace is a gift to God’s children. I am one of them, and so are you.
